 Day 6: Predict Gold Medalists at 2012 Worlds

Men: Patrick Chan. I take no joy in this, but it is inevitable until he retires. All I can hope for is no more Phantom.

Ice Dance: Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir. Providing she stays fit of course, but I think that when they are both on top form, the judges still prefer V/M to D/W. In my dreams Nathalie and Fabian win it all by miles, but I’m trying to be vaguely realistic.

Pairs: It will be super tight between Savchenko/Szolkowy and Volosozhar/Trankov, but I think the Germans will have enough to hold V/T off for one more season

Ladies: Adelina Sotnikova. With Miki taking a season off, Yuna seemingly not being all that fussed about competion anymore, and Mao’s jumps possibly still AWOL, the field is wide open for an upset & Adelina’s JGP and JW’s performances suggest that she is best placed to snatch the gold.
